After 25 years of being out of the piping world and then being diagnosed with cancer I decided to get back into it. I can’t believe how much technology has improved in my absence. After listening to Lincon Hilton I just had to get my hands on one of his chanters. When it arrived I wasn’t disappointed. It’s the best made instrument ever and of the highest quality. I’ll post a tune later.
I've got several practice chanters, and even more chanter reeds. I am trying to find a chanter that will produce a sound that will not be out of place with other chanters. I have changed the Frazer Warnock reed that came with this chanter for a reed that is similar to the Greg Abbott blue reed. I'm enjoying the sound its producing now.
I like the cutting edge with the double angle can scrape in both directions
